Concept, branding & label design 2018

The illustration Labels project are a tribute to the Portuguese maritime discoveries through troubled waters and great dangers that are so well described in “The Lusíadas”. The same waters where we shipped our wines across the world – Inspired in The Lusíadas (Portuguese epic poem by Luís Vaz de Camões). The approach to the illustration design process combines and merges traditional techniques, brushes and inks, gouges and hand prints with vector post production by digital artifacts and technologies. Process and knowledge that allows you to take illustration to new and unprecedented dimensions in detail. With 380 000 stitches for mathematically correct shapes, it was possible to produce localized techniques and make molds for high and low relief.
